The Challenge: A "Mission Impossible" Deadline
South Island United (SIU) is the newest professional franchise in the Oceania Pro League. Competing on an international stage against established giants like Auckland FC, the club faced a critical challenge: they needed to look world-class from the very first whistle.
The stakes were high, but the timeline was nearly impossible. We received the green light on November 24th, with a hard launch deadline of January 17th for the season opener.
This gave us less than 8 weeks to design, build, and launch a fully functional professional sports platform, right in the middle of the Christmas and New Year industry shutdown.

- The "Holiday Grind": While most agencies closed their doors for the summer break, our team worked through weekends and the holiday period to ensure the deadline was met.

- Dynamic Match Center: A custom-built system to display fixtures, live results, and league tables that is visually consistent with the brand.
- Media-Ready CMS: A robust Content Management System designed for the club’s media team. They can publish breaking news, player signings, and match reports in seconds, with zero technical knowledge required.
- Player & Squad Profiles: Interactive player cards that allow fans to explore stats, biographies, and highlights, deepening fan engagement.
- Automated Age Calculations: Custom JavaScript integration to automatically update player ages and stats based on DOB, reducing administrative overhead.
The Result: A Flawless Kick-off
On January 17th, as the team took the pitch, the digital platform went live without a hitch. The site successfully handled the massive spike in match-day traffic, delivering a fast, responsive experience for thousands of fans.
